I’m currently all grain brewing and think its time for a grain mill. The problem is I don’t know a thing about grain mills so do you have some advice on the subject? Pros and Cons
I own a barley crusher, and it’s an excellent grain mill!
I pulled off the handle and hooked my drill up to it to really speed things up. After a lot of tinkering with the gap spacing, I finally found a really good setting for barley that gives me a good crush but leaves the husk intact. Fantastic!
My only advice would be to buy one and spend some time finding the right setting before you crush a full grain bill on your next batch.
