Looking for some good ideas on how to filter homebrew, I feel like that’ll be the last step in perfecting my brew. I got a bunch of fantastic recipes that I would love to clear up and make look more professional. Any tips would be wonderful.
For best result I do the following…
- Use Irish Moss with 20 min left during boil
- Transfer to secondary
- Cold crash at end of secondary (put secondary in the fridge with gelatin for day or two)
To filter, you need to push your beer from one keg to the next through a filter. Typical filters use a 1-micron filter and can be expensive to setup. Following the 3 points above will get your beer close enough that you probably won’t be able to tell if it went through a filter or not.
