I just bottled a beer for the first time. After the 3-4 week carbonation/conditioning, is it better to store them cold, or still at room temp? Or does it even make any difference?
It’s best to store your beers at serving temp. Storing your beers at room temp however won’t ruin them as long as your not doing long term storage.
I usually just toss the cases that wont fit in the fridge onto the garage floor, and they age fine. I had a flemish red style out there aging for 6 months before I got to it.
That beer experienced temperature extremes from 40’s to 100+ The beer survived fine, but I’m not sure it could’ve taken it much longer.
